Experiences
Back in 2017, I was just a kid. I didn’t really know what I was doing yet, but I loved music and messing around with my controller. That year, I played at a few friends’ birthday parties — maybe 4 in total. It wasn’t anything serious, but I remember how excited I felt every time I set up my gear. That’s really where it all started.
I kept going, still doing mostly birthday parties for people I knew — around 6 that year. It was just fun for me at that point. I didn’t think of it as a “career” or anything, I just enjoyed making people dance and having a good time.
More parties, more fun — this year I played 9 birthday gigs. I started feeling a bit more comfortable behind the decks, picking better music, and getting a bit more creative with how I played. But really, I was still that kid just doing what he loved whenever he got the chance.
2020 was different. I actually got a small acting role in a movie, and after filming finished, I was invited to play at the wrap party. That was a new experience for me — playing for a celebration that wasn’t a birthday. Even though I only had two events that year, they meant a lot.
This year was pretty quiet — I had just one gig, another birthday. But I didn’t stop. I still played at home, practiced when I could, and kept the passion alive even when I wasn’t playing out.
This was a big turning point — I moved from Thailand to the Netherlands. Even though I had just arrived, I still managed to do around 4 events, including school shows and birthdays. It was exciting to bring what I loved doing in Thailand into a whole new country and keep building from there.
Things picked up. I did 6 gigs, a mix of school parties, birthdays, family events, and even a couple of Thai parties here in the Netherlands. I was growing, improving, and more people started to see what I could do.
This was one of my busiest years — 8 gigs. Everything from school and family events to Thai parties again. I was getting better with every set, more confident, and I started recording more content to post online. I started to take it all a bit more seriously.
So far this year, I’ve played 7 events, but this time not just birthdays — I’ve now stepped into clubs and bars too. It feels like everything I’ve worked on since being a kid is finally starting to take shape. I’m still pushing, still learning, and still chasing that dream.
